- חַרְסִיתI (b. h.) pr. n., שער הח׳ Gate of Ḥarsith, one of the Jerusalem gates. Y.Erub.V, 22c (the Eastern gate) was called שער חריסית שהוא מכווןוכ׳ (corr. acc.) Gate of Ḥ., because it was facing the East; v. חֶרֶס II.
